Why We're Not FDA Approved-And Why it Matters

What you’re about to read is the untold story of a natural birth control cream that works—and the quiet forces trying to keep it from reaching the women who need it most.

The True Story they Don't want you to Know

Yes, We Received a Letter from the FDA

We also received multiple visits in our family home in the States from Criminal Investigators from the FDA…for an all natural cream, and the right for women to choose.

This is not a short explanation…but one that is well worth your time without a doubt…

Smart Women’s Choice was the original producer of the formula of Wise Women’s Choice. Founded by Dr. Francoise Farron, her natural birth control cream with no hormones or harmful side effects had passed case studies with 100% effectiveness, no harmful side effects, and lab tests showing 100% immobilization of sperm. Tens of thousands of women were served with an effectiveness rate of 99.8% and no harmful side effects to date. The FDA shut down Smart Women’s Choice for selling an “unapproved drug” when her cream was not a drug, but an all natural option for women to choose to manage their fertility without taking the serious risks involved with all FDA approved synthetic and hormonal options. Dr. Francoise brought this option to market after her best friend’s daughter died due to a blood clot caused by her birth control…she was 28.

The FDA is asserting that our all natural cream is an “unapproved drug” and acts on systems of the body. Let’s take a deeper look at that…

Wise does not act on any system of the body, but rather acts on sperm, once it has left the male’s body. In contrast, hormonal birth control shuts down the Reproductive System, and has harmful effects on the Endocrine System, the Neurological System, The Cardiovascular System (hello heart attacks and blood clots), The Liver and Detoxification System, The Digestive System, and the Immune System. Furthermore, it is classified by the CDC as a Class One Carcinogen, and continues to be approved by the FDA and recommended by Doctors, generally without a word of the serious health risks involved.

Let’s have a quick look at the history of Hormonal Birth Control that we were never taught… The first tests of the Birth Control Pill were done in Puerto Rico in the 1950s among marginalized women who were not given informed consent that they were testing an experimental drug. The tests were preformed by Dr. Gregory Pinkus and Dr. John Rock with heavy funding by Margaret Sanger, a known Eugenist quoted as saying, “More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief issue of birth control.”

These studies left the women participants with serious side effects including severe mood changes, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and blood clots. Several of the participants died with no autopsies performed. The Puerto Rican women were painted as “complainers” and the pill was passed by the FDA and made available to the public. Although there have been improvements to hormonal birth control options since the 50s, over 300 women die from side effects of their hormonal contraceptions every year in the States alone, and these methods continue to be made available to teenagers and women worldwide.

Smart Women’s Choice and Wise Women’s Choice have been used by tens of thousands of women globally, with the only know side effect being irritation in less than 2% of users. The cream is made from all natural ingredients known to be safe for the human body. It has no pharmaceutical ingredients and does not act on any system of the body, regardless of the FDA assertion that acting on a bodily fluid that has left the body is somehow affecting a bodily system.

The criminal investigator who visited Lauren’s family home, when questioned by Lauren’s father about how other natural products are able to be legally sold stated, “Yes, this is all very silly. It really comes down to wording, which if they word it correctly they can legally sell in the States.” After requesting from both the FDA and the criminal investigator for information about how to properly word and honor the FDA regulations around wording for natural products many months ago, Wise has still had no reply to these requests other than acknowledging that the request were received.

Our understanding is that we can legally make this product available in the States, as long as we don’t tell the people what our product does or make any of the truthful claims as far as its effectiveness.

We operate out of Costa Rica where our cream has been Approved by The Ministry of Health for Sale in Pharmacies and is available in the top OBYGN and Family Practitioner Doctor’s offices in the Country. All of our claims are supported by official certification from the Costa Rican Ministry of Health—a country where health freedom and respect for natural alternatives still hold true.

There is one more aspect to be mentioned about all of this. To perform various rounds of clinical trials and undergo the process of FDA approval is a process costing up to 100 Million dollars. This effectively excludes any producer of effective, safe methods that would dare threaten profits of the pharmaceutical industry. As a small, family owned business Wise stands on the results of our case studies, lab analysis, and real life success of tens of thousands of users, including our own successful use of the product for over 5 years.

All of Wise’s claims of function and effectiveness have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you are a user from the States, or any place where regulatory agencies disapprove of natural products being used for contraception, please note that for you, our cream is intended for general wellness purposes only. Noting that we recognize that most women feel most generally well when they are able to take care of their fertility needs without posing serious risk to their health and wellbeing.

Our story is one of the ongoing fight for women’s reproductive rights and the right to protect our health when choosing to prevent pregnancy. This is what Wise stands for. This is what we are giving our lives to. The choice is not that of regulatory agencies, but that of conscious women ready for a healthy, effective option.

Decentralizing Birth Control

Lauren the Director of Wise’s Great Uncle Benedict Lust was one of the great fathers of Naturopathy in the States. He was killed by the Pharmaceutical Industry after his natural healing center was burned down. He suffered major burns rescuing people and manuscripts from the building and was murdered in the Hospital when they put sulfur in his wounds. He was healing thousands using all natural methods, printing a myriad of books with the keys to natural healing, and had a naturopathic medical school.

Wise recognizes the power of this natural, effective option that we are sharing…and the risk. We’re launching an initiative to unite thousands of producers for the cream internationally so that this option cannot be snuffed out. Women deserve better, and it is our mission to make sure that that happens, large scare, grass roots….putting the power and the money back in the hands of the people. If you, or someone you know is a producer of natural soaps or cosmetics, an herbalist, or cosmetic formulator that feels the call to partner in this mission, please reach out to us at wisewomenschoice@gmail.com to learn more about this life changing opportunity.
